Description
The Oceanic Systems 5311 Combined Smoke and Heat Detector brings both smoke and heat sensing together in a single conventional detector for a vessel fire detection system. Combining the two sensing methods gives earlier and more reliable warning across the different kinds of fire that can occur on board.
The detector is approved to EN54-7 and EN54-5 and is classified A1R, operating from a 9 to 30 volt DC supply with very low standby current. A simulated smoke and heat test facility allows the unit to be verified in place, making it a dependable core component of an Oceanic Systems fire and safety installation.
