Description
This is the pedestal top assembly, the rotating drive base, for the Garmin GMR Fantom 12x 40W solid-state open-array radar. The antenna array and cable are not included, so it serves as a replacement or service part for an existing Fantom 12x open-array system. Fit a compatible Fantom 4 ft or 6 ft open array to complete the scanner.
The Fantom platform uses 40 W solid-state pulse-compression transmission with MotionScope Doppler processing to highlight moving targets and aid collision avoidance. It detects out to 72 nautical miles, supports MARPA and dual-range, and connects to compatible Garmin chartplotters over the Garmin Marine Network.
