Description
This is the 4-foot open-array antenna for the Garmin GMR Fantom 40W solid-state radar range. It is the array section only, supplied without the pedestal or cable, so it is intended as a replacement or service part for an existing Fantom open-array installation. Fit it to a compatible Fantom pedestal to complete the scanner.
The end-fed slotted-waveguide array provides a 1.8 degree horizontal beamwidth and a 22 degree vertical beamwidth. As part of a Fantom system it supports the radar's solid-state pulse-compression and MotionScope Doppler processing for clear target detection.
