Description
The Maretron MBB300C Black Box is a third-generation dedicated processing unit that runs Maretron N2KView vessel monitoring and control software. Unlike a PC that will run any software, the MBB300C runs only N2KView, which makes it extremely stable and focused on monitoring and controlling your vessel. It is compatible with Garmin OneHelm and Raymarine LightHouse 3.
Ruggedised for marine use, it uses a solid-state disk to withstand the pounding of waves and dissipates less than 10 watts, so no noisy internal cooling fans are needed. It connects to a monitor via VGA or HDMI at up to 2560 x 1600, while a touchscreen, keyboard, mouse or trackball connects through its USB or serial ports. Two completely isolated CAN bus connectors allow single or redundant NMEA 2000 networks, and an Ethernet port adds IP cameras, email alert notifications and Maretron cloud services.
You get the full flexibility of N2KView, configuring as many screens as you like with exactly the data you want, plus free software upgrades as new features are added.
