Description
The Scanstrut LMB-F2 is a self-levelling backstay radar mount that keeps your radar steady and level with the horizon as the boat heels under sail or rolls offshore. A fine-tuned damping system reacts to changes in heel angle, holding the radome horizontal so it delivers a clear, dependable picture in challenging conditions.
This forward-leaning version mounts ahead of the backstay and stands 2.6m (8'6") high, raising the radar clear of crew and deck gear while leaving the aft deck unobstructed and helping keep the dome away from interference. The LMB-F2 is configured to carry the heavier Furuno domes.
Constructed around a machined aluminium damping chamber and a 316 stainless steel radar cradle, it is entirely maintenance-free and requires no power. It is designed to fit the most up-to-date radars from Furuno.

- Self-levelling design keeps the radar scanner horizontal as the yacht heels (plus or minus 8 degrees)
- Mounts a single radome to the backstay, clear of the deck and rigging
- Fits backstay cables from 7mm to 14mm diameter
- Supplied with a 2580mm (102") mounting pole in two sections with a joiner
- Can be deck, transom or chainplate mounted using the optional chainplate adapter
- Optional 0.65M and 1.3M pole extensions available
- GPS antenna can be added using the LM-GPS bracket
