Description
The Raymarine Evolution EV-150 Power Pilot (T70330) is a complete hydraulic autopilot for powerboats with single-engine outboards or inboards. Its 12 volt Type 1 hydraulic pump serves steering cylinder capacities between 80 and 230 cc (4.9 to 14.0 cu in), driven by the ACU-150 actuator control unit with up to 12 A of continuous drive current. Hydro-Balance technology compensates for elasticity in the hydraulic circuit, eliminating oscillation and drive hunting.
The pack contains the EV-1 Sensor Core, ACU-150, p70Rs rotary control head, Evolution SeaTalkng cabling kit and the Type 1 pump (pump installation guide document 81178). Commissioning needs no calibration, and the pilot is equally at home commanded from a compatible Axiom chartplotter. The same system without the drive is T70407. Note that Raymarine has issued a recall notice affecting certain ACU-150 units; contact us with your serial number for guidance.
