Description
DockSense Control is an assisted-docking system and a first within the recreational marine industry. This five-camera configuration combines object recognition with control of the vessel's propulsion system to help prevent collisions. The system uses 5 FLIR machine vision cameras feeding a central DockSense Control Processing Unit, with the DockSense Control App running on a Raymarine Axiom navigation display.
DockSense Control augments the captain's boat-handling skills using Virtual Bumper zone technology around the vessel. Should an object such as a piling or another vessel enter the Virtual Bumper, the system automatically introduces corrective control of the boat's propulsion, integrating with modern joystick propulsion systems to provide assisted steering and thrust and giving captains confidence to dock safely.
DockSense Control systems are designed for professional engineer installation. This system pack comprises 5 DockSense stereo vision cameras and the DockSense Control Processing Unit.
