Description

This Raymarine system pack scales the i70s instrument network for larger yachts: the 4.1 inch i70s colour multifunction display, a long arm masthead wind vane, a DST800 through hull depth, speed and temperature transducer and the iTC-5 converter that digitises the masthead signal onto SeaTalkng. The 9 m backbone cable kit with T-piece, power cable and terminators reaches further from masthead junction to helm.

The i70s shows wind, speed, depth and tridata pages on an optically bonded 1,200 cd/m2 screen with characters up to 43 mm, and calibrates every transducer connected through the iTC-5. Autopilots and Axiom chartplotters join the same backbone with a spur each.

For smaller boats the T70216 pack pairs the same electronics with a short arm vane and 3 m cable kit.

Can I use my existing analogue transducers with the i70s?
Yes. The iTC-5 instrument transducer converter brings analogue depth, speed, temperature, wind and rudder transducers onto the SeaTalkng network, and the i70s provides full calibration of the transducers connected through it.
Which smart transducers connect directly to the backbone?
DST800 and DT800 smart transducers connect straight to the SeaTalkng backbone without an iTC-5 or pod, and the current DST810 Gen2 lists the i70s among its compatible displays.
Can the i70s show AIS targets?
Yes. The AIS repeater view displays the closest 25 AIS equipped vessels from an NMEA 2000 AIS receiver, and individual targets can be selected for vessel information.
How do I update the i70s software?
The i70s software updates through a connected, compatible Raymarine multifunction display. The latest packages and the update procedure are published at raymarine.com/software.
What size is the panel cut out for the i70s?
The i70s mounts through a 92 mm (3 5/8 in) hole, and mounting template 87260 is included in the Downloads tab.
