Description
The Raymarine AR270 is a precision heading and motion-sensing sensor used in DockSense Alert and DockSense Control assisted-docking installations. In addition to their 3D stereo vision cameras, DockSense systems need accurate heading and motion data, and the AR270 provides this together with its partner sensor.
The AR270 and AR250 combine to create a highly accurate GPS compass system that is unaffected by magnetic interference. This lets DockSense precisely measure distances to the dock, pilings and nearby vessels and render a reliable bird's-eye view on a Raymarine Axiom multifunction display. DockSense systems are designed for professional engineer installation.
