Description
This bundle combines two Raymarine products into a single fit-out for communications and situational awareness: the Ray90 modular VHF radio and the AIS700 Class B AIS transceiver.
The Ray90 is a black-box fixed-mount VHF radio with a 25 W transmitter, Class D Digital Selective Calling and a built-in GPS receiver (external passive antenna required for GPS). The transceiver hides out of sight while an ergonomic wired RayMic handset and passive speaker provide full control. It is multi-station capable, expandable to two handsets, and adds a built-in loudhailer with fog signals, dual-watch, tri-watch and weather alert.
The AIS700 is a 5 W SOTDMA Class B AIS transceiver that transmits and receives vessel data and includes a built-in VHF antenna splitter, allowing the Ray90 and the AIS700 to share a single masthead VHF antenna. Both products connect over NMEA 2000 / SeaTalkng and NMEA 0183 to overlay AIS targets and share DSC and GPS data with compatible Raymarine multifunction displays.
