This is a genuine Raymarine replacement magnetron for 12kW Digital open-array radar pedestals. The magnetron is the high-power microwave valve that generates the radar transmit pulse on these long-range open-array scanners, and it is a wear item: its heater runs in both standby and transmit, so output falls gradually over a long service life until the valve needs replacing.

Replacing the magnetron restores the transmit power, long-range performance and target detection of an otherwise sound 12kW scanner, and is a cost-effective alternative to changing the whole pedestal.
