Description
The Raymarine Magnum 4ft Open Array is the antenna element for a Magnum open array radar system, mounting onto a 4kW or 12kW Magnum pedestal to form the rotating scanner. At 1306 mm (51.4 in) it is the compact array choice, giving a horizontal beamwidth of 1.85 degrees for sharp target separation while keeping the overall footprint manageable on smaller superstructures and arches.
Like every Magnum array it rotates at 24 or 48 RPM and works with both transmitter powers, so the same antenna can be paired with the 4kW pedestal for coastal work or the 12kW pedestal for long range offshore detection. The array ships with its alignment guides and fixings ready to bolt to the pedestal using the standardised Magnum mounting pattern.
