QUANTUM MOTOR ASSEMBLY

Description
This Raymarine R70347 is the motor assembly that rotates the antenna inside a Quantum radar scanner. It is supplied as a genuine service part for the Quantum Q24C and Q24W radomes, allowing a workshop to restore a unit whose scanner has stopped turning or has become noisy or worn, without replacing the entire radar.
The motor drives the patch-array antenna at the Quantum's nominal 24 RPM rotation speed, sweeping the beam around the vessel so the radar can build its picture. Renewing the motor with a genuine Raymarine assembly returns the scanner to correct rotation and reliable operation. This part should be fitted by a competent technician following the relevant Raymarine service documentation, and the radome should be resealed with a fresh gasket on reassembly.
