Description
This Raymarine R70352 is the radome base, the lower housing that forms the mounting foundation of a Quantum radar scanner and pairs with the radome top to enclose the antenna and rotating gear. It is supplied as a genuine service part for the Quantum Q24C and Q24W radomes, for use where the base has been damaged or its mounting points compromised.
The base carries the radar's mounting fixings and forms part of the IPx6-rated sealed enclosure, so it must be fitted with the matching gasket to keep the unit watertight. As an official Raymarine spare it ensures the radome retains its original fit and weather protection. This part should be fitted by a competent technician following the relevant Raymarine service documentation.
