Description
This Raymarine R70634 is the radome top for the Quantum 2 Q24D Doppler radar scanner, the upper housing that forms the weatherproof cover over the antenna and rotating gear. It is supplied as a genuine service part for the Quantum 2 Doppler radome, letting a workshop replace a cover that has been damaged or weathered rather than replacing the whole radar.
The radome top is part of the IPx6-rated sealed enclosure, so it must be fitted with the matching gasket to keep the unit watertight. As an official Raymarine spare it ensures the Quantum 2 radome retains its original fit, finish and weather protection. This part should be fitted by a competent technician following the relevant Raymarine service documentation.
