The Quantum Q24W is an 18-inch solid-state CHIRP radome that links to a compatible Raymarine multifunction display over built-in Wi-Fi only, with no data cable to run. It delivers clear radar imaging from 24 nautical miles to close range while drawing just 17 W on transmit. Supplied with a 10 m power cable.

Description

The Raymarine Quantum Q24W is the wireless-only version of the Quantum solid-state radar, designed for installations where running a data cable down the mast is impractical. It connects to a compatible Raymarine multifunction display purely over built-in Wi-Fi, so only the 10 m power cable needs routing. The compact 18-inch radome weighs just 5.6 kg, easing the load on masts and radar arches.

Like the rest of the Quantum range, the Q24W uses X-band CHIRP pulse-compression rather than a magnetron, producing clean, well-separated targets from distant landfall at 24 nautical miles down to nearby hazards. Transmit consumption is only 17 W, dropping to a 2 W Wi-Fi sleep mode, and there is no high-voltage radiation or warm-up time. The result is a radar that is quick to install, easy on the battery, and safe to site close to where people spend time aboard.

How does the Quantum Q24W connect to my display?
The Q24W connects to a compatible Raymarine multifunction display over built-in Wi-Fi only; it has no data cable, so only the 10 m power cable needs routing (87209 Rev 9).
What is the difference between the Q24W and the Q24C?
Both are the same Quantum solid-state radar, but the Q24C offers both RayNet and Wi-Fi connections, while the Q24W is Wi-Fi connection only (87209 Rev 9).
Which displays are compatible with the Quantum Q24W?
Quantum is compatible with the New e, c and a Series, eS and gS Series, and Axiom, Axiom+, Axiom Pro, Axiom 2 Pro, Axiom XL and Axiom 2 XL displays running the required LightHouse software (87209 Rev 9).
What range does the Quantum Q24W provide?
Range scales run from 1/16 nautical mile up to a maximum of 24 nautical miles (87209 Rev 9).
How much power does the Q24W consume?
Transmit consumption is 17 W maximum, standby is 7 W, and the Wi-Fi sleep mode draws 2 W (87209 Rev 9).
