This kit pairs the black Raymarine Quantum 2 Q24D Doppler radar with a 15 m power cable and a 15 m RayNet data cable for longer cable runs to a compatible Raymarine multifunction display. Doppler processing colour-codes inbound targets red and outbound green, and the radar tracks up to 25 targets out to 24 nautical miles. Can also connect over built-in Wi-Fi.

Description

This Raymarine Quantum 2 kit supplies the black-finish 18-inch Doppler radome together with a 15 m power cable and a 15 m RayNet to RayNet data cable, ideal for craft where the radar mounts well away from the helm. The black finish complements darker superstructures, while the radar is identical to the standard Quantum 2: true Doppler processing colour-codes contacts red for inbound and green for outbound so potential collision risks are obvious at a glance.

The longer 15 m cables suit taller masts and larger vessels. Quantum 2 tracks up to 25 targets at once with a True Motion filter, draws just 17 W on transmit and weighs only 5.6 kg. The Q24D provides both a RayNet connector and built-in Wi-Fi, so you can wire it with the included data cable or connect wirelessly to a compatible Raymarine multifunction display.

What is included in this black Quantum 2 kit?
The kit includes the black Quantum 2 Q24D Doppler radome, a 15 m power cable, a 15 m RayNet to RayNet data cable, mounting fixings and documentation (87342 Rev 6).
Why choose the 15 m cable kit?
The 15 m power and data cables suit taller masts and larger vessels where the radar mounts well away from the helm (87342 Rev 6).
Is the black version any different in performance?
No. The black Quantum 2 is identical in radar performance to the standard version; only the radome finish differs (87342 Rev 6).
What does the Doppler feature do?
Doppler processing detects whether contacts are inbound or outbound and colour-codes them red or green so collision risks stand out (87342 Rev 6).
