Description
This Raymarine Quantum 2 kit brings together the 18-inch Doppler-enhanced solid-state radome and the cabling needed for a wired installation: a 10 m power cable and a 10 m RayNet to RayNet data cable. Quantum 2 adds true Doppler processing to Raymarine's compact CHIRP radar, measuring the frequency shift of returning echoes to instantly colour-code contacts red for inbound and green for outbound, so collision risks stand out at a glance.
The supplied 10 m cables suit installations where the radar mounts a moderate distance from the display. Quantum 2 tracks up to 25 targets simultaneously with a True Motion filter, draws just 17 W on transmit and weighs only 5.6 kg. The Q24D carries both a RayNet connector and built-in Wi-Fi, so it can be wired with the included data cable or linked wirelessly to a compatible Raymarine multifunction display.
