Description
The Raymarine Quantum 2 Q24D in black is the dark-finish version of Raymarine's Doppler-enhanced solid-state radar, chosen to complement darker hardtops, arches and superstructures. It is functionally identical to the standard Quantum 2, using true Doppler processing to colour-code moving radar contacts: red for inbound and green for outbound. This makes it far simpler to judge which targets present a collision risk when navigating busy or low-visibility waters.
The compact 18-inch radome uses low-power X-band CHIRP pulse-compression for clean imaging from 24 nautical miles down to close range, draws just 17 W on transmit, and weighs only 5.6 kg. It tracks up to 25 targets at once, with a True Motion mode that highlights only objects moving relative to your boat, and connects to a compatible Raymarine multifunction display by RayNet cable or built-in Wi-Fi. This unit is the black radome only and is supplied without cables.
