Description
This Raymarine Quantum 2 kit supplies the black-finish 18-inch Doppler radome together with a 10 m power cable and a 10 m RayNet to RayNet data cable, ready for a wired installation. The black finish suits darker hardtops, arches and superstructures, while the radar itself is identical to the standard Quantum 2: true Doppler processing colour-codes contacts red for inbound and green for outbound so collision risks stand out at a glance.
The supplied 10 m cables suit installations where the radar mounts a moderate distance from the display. Quantum 2 tracks up to 25 targets simultaneously with a True Motion filter, draws just 17 W on transmit and weighs only 5.6 kg. The Q24D carries both a RayNet connector and built-in Wi-Fi, so it can be wired with the included data cable or linked wirelessly to a compatible Raymarine multifunction display.
