Description

The Raymarine i50 and i60 Wind, Speed and Depth pack is the classic three instrument fit for a cruising or racing sailboat: i50 Depth and i50 Speed digital displays, an i60 Wind analogue instrument, plus P319 depth, P120 speed and temperature and short arm masthead wind transducers. Three matched 110 x 115 mm displays line up neatly at the helm.

Each display hosts its own transducer through built in interfaces, then shares everything over SeaTalkng so autopilots, i70s displays and chartplotters see depth, speed and wind from one network. High contrast LCDs, oversized digits and red backlighting keep every readout clear, with group dimming across all three at once.

This is the current part number for the system pack defined in the official i50 and i60 manuals, which cover every component supplied. NMEA 2000 and SeaTalk 1 equipment connects via adaptor cables.

Can the i50 connect to an NMEA 2000 or older SeaTalk system?
Yes. The i50 is SeaTalkng native with two SeaTalkng connections. NMEA 2000 equipment connects using a SeaTalkng to DeviceNet adaptor cable, and older SeaTalk 1 systems connect through the SeaTalk to SeaTalkng converter kit (E22158).
Can an i50 display data from a transducer connected elsewhere on the network?
Yes. Each i50 can be configured as a master display hosting its own transducer, or as a repeater showing information from another source on the SeaTalkng network.
Does the i60 show true wind as well as apparent wind?
Yes. The i60 Wind calculates both apparent (relative) and true wind speed and angle.
How is the i50 powered?
Normally from the SeaTalkng backbone, with a 12 V dc nominal supply. The manual also covers SeaTalk 1 and direct power connections, and an inline fuse must be fitted to the red power wire if one is not supplied.
