M300 Boson 640 LR - 9 Hz

The M300 Boson 640 LR is the long-range, high-resolution thermal imaging core module for the FLIR M300-series marine camera platform. It combines the FLIR Boson, a 12 micron uncooled longwave infrared (LWIR) detector with 640 x 512 resolution, with longer-range optics for greater detection distance, as found in the long-range M300-series cameras. Thermal imaging detects heat rather than light, revealing vessels, buoys, obstacles and people in the water in complete darkness, glare and light fog.

Supplied as a 9 Hz camera core module rather than a complete camera, the M300 Boson 640 LR is intended for integration into, or service of, the M300-series housing with its two-axis gyro stabilisation and pan and tilt mechanism. The narrower field of view of the long-range optics suits larger vessels and stable platforms requiring extended range. The Boson core is NDAA compliant and ITAR free.
