Description
The Raymarine Power over Ethernet (PoE) injector introduces 48 V DC power into an Ethernet network cable, so a powered network device can draw both data and power over a single run. It is most commonly used to power FLIR M-series and Raymarine thermal night-vision cameras and T-series joystick installations, where the camera or device receives its supply over the network connection rather than a separate power cable.
The injector is wired into the Ethernet path between the network switch / display and the powered device. Detailed mechanical specifications are not published in the reachable Raymarine literature and have been omitted; the 48 V PoE rating is taken from the published product information.
