Description

The Raymarine B164 is a bronze, dual-frequency (50/200 kHz) high-performance thru-hull transducer with Airmar Tilted Element Technology. The element is fixed at a 12 degree angle for hulls with a 8 - 15 degrees deadrise, compensating for the hull so the beam points straight down and eliminating the need for a fairing block.

Mounting nearly flush to the hull to reduce drag, the B164 carries an array of three high-performance ceramics, making it six times more sensitive at 50 kHz and twice as sensitive at 200 kHz as the benchmark B60/SS60 models. It performs to a depth of 500 m (1,640 ft) and includes a built-in fast-response water temperature sensor. The low-profile housing protrudes less than 6.35 mm (0.25 in) outside the hull for excellent performance at speeds up to 30 knots.

The B164 is fitted with a Raymarine 8-pin DSM-style connector that is directly compatible with the CP370 sonar module and legacy CP300, DSM300, DSM30 and DSM250 modules, and is compatible with both 600 W and 1kW sonar systems. It can be adapted to other systems using optional transducer adapter cables, sold separately.
