Description

This Raymarine pack puts the i50 Tridata instrument display together with P120 speed and temperature and P319 depth through hull transducers, a complete sounder and log solution for sailing yachts and powerboats. The Tridata's 3 line display carries depth, speed, trip, log and water temperature simultaneously, with oversized readouts and red backlighting for all conditions visibility.

Both transducers connect directly to the display's twin built in interfaces, and audible shallow, anchor and deep alarms keep watch beneath the hull. The pack mirrors the official i50 Tridata through hull system defined in the Raymarine i50 manual, updated to the current part number.

Two SeaTalkng connections share everything with autopilots, i70s displays and chartplotters, with NMEA 2000 and SeaTalk 1 systems supported via adaptors. The display surface mounts in the standard 110 x 115 mm instrument footprint.

Can the i50 connect to an NMEA 2000 or older SeaTalk system?
Yes. The i50 is SeaTalkng native with two SeaTalkng connections. NMEA 2000 equipment connects using a SeaTalkng to DeviceNet adaptor cable, and older SeaTalk 1 systems connect through the SeaTalk to SeaTalkng converter kit (E22158).
Can an i50 display data from a transducer connected elsewhere on the network?
Yes. Each i50 can be configured as a master display hosting its own transducer, or as a repeater showing information from another source on the SeaTalkng network.
Which transducers does the i50 family accept?
Depth displays accept the P319, P7, B17, B45, P17, P79 and P79S transducers. Speed displays accept the P120, ST69, P371, P17, B120 and the ST900 and ST950 retractable sensors. DST800 and B744V combined depth, speed and temperature transducers suit all three displays, with the Tridata hosting depth and speed at the same time.
How is the i50 powered?
Normally from the SeaTalkng backbone, with a 12 V dc nominal supply. The manual also covers SeaTalk 1 and direct power connections, and an inline fuse must be fitted to the red power wire if one is not supplied.
What is the difference between the i50 Tridata and the separate Depth and Speed displays?
The Tridata combines depth, speed, log and temperature on a 3 line display and carries two transducer connections. The i50 Depth and i50 Speed each host a single transducer and dedicate the whole display to one value with larger digits.
