Description

The Raymarine R109LH-W is a high-power 2 kW urethane thru-hull CHIRP transducer built around 16 internal ceramics for serious deep-water performance. The thru-hull design puts nothing between the transducer and the water, maximising sensitivity, while the wider medium-band coverage adds visibility in shallower water.

This Low-High configuration operates at 38-75 kHz (low) / 150-250 kHz (high, wide) with a beamwidth of 19°-10° (low), 25° (high), reaching depths of 1829 m (6000 ft) low / 244 m (800 ft) high. The transducer records both depth and water temperature and suits fibreglass, wood and metal hulls with a deadrise of 0 - 25°.

As a 2 kW transducer the R109LH-W is intended for high-power CHIRP sonar modules such as the Raymarine CP570; it is not driven by the 600W/1 kW sonar built into entry chartplotters. The fitted cable is 10 m (33 ft).

Note: this is an ultra-wide-beam variant for maximum coverage.
