Description

The Raymarine R109LM is a high-power 2 kW urethane thru-hull CHIRP transducer built around 16 internal ceramics for serious deep-water performance. The thru-hull design puts nothing between the transducer and the water, maximising sensitivity, while the wider medium-band coverage adds visibility in shallower water.

This Low-Medium configuration operates at 38-75 kHz (low) / 80-130 kHz (medium) with a beamwidth of 19°-10° (low), 13°-8° (medium), reaching depths of 1829 m (6000 ft) low / 914 m (3000 ft) medium. The transducer records both depth and water temperature and suits fibreglass, wood and metal hulls with a deadrise of 0 - 25°.

As a 2 kW transducer the R109LM is intended for high-power CHIRP sonar modules such as the Raymarine CP570; it is not driven by the 600W/1 kW sonar built into entry chartplotters. The fitted cable is 10 m (33 ft).
