Description

This Raymarine pack covers a sailing yacht's essential instruments with two displays instead of three: the i50 Tridata carries depth, speed, trip, log and water temperature on its 3 line readout, while the i60 Wind presents wind angle on its analogue gauge with wind speed on the LCD. P120 speed and temperature, P319 depth and short arm masthead wind vane transducers complete the system.

The Tridata's twin transducer interfaces host both hull sensors, the i60 connects the masthead vane directly, and both displays share data across the SeaTalkng backbone with autopilots, i70s displays and chartplotters. Red backlighting and group dimming keep the pair matched day and night.

Pack composition follows the SMG trade listing for T70585; the i50 and i60 manuals cover every supplied component. NMEA 2000 and SeaTalk 1 systems connect via adaptor cables.

Can the i50 connect to an NMEA 2000 or older SeaTalk system?
Yes. The i50 is SeaTalkng native with two SeaTalkng connections. NMEA 2000 equipment connects using a SeaTalkng to DeviceNet adaptor cable, and older SeaTalk 1 systems connect through the SeaTalk to SeaTalkng converter kit (E22158).
Can an i50 display data from a transducer connected elsewhere on the network?
Yes. Each i50 can be configured as a master display hosting its own transducer, or as a repeater showing information from another source on the SeaTalkng network.
Does the i60 show true wind as well as apparent wind?
Yes. The i60 Wind calculates both apparent (relative) and true wind speed and angle.
How is the i50 powered?
Normally from the SeaTalkng backbone, with a 12 V dc nominal supply. The manual also covers SeaTalk 1 and direct power connections, and an inline fuse must be fitted to the red power wire if one is not supplied.
