Description
The Raymarine waterproof Ethernet RJ45 coupler joins two RJ45 Ethernet network cables together in a single, sealed inline connection. It is used to extend or join standard RJ45 network cabling while keeping the connection weatherproof, for example where a network run needs to be lengthened or a cable has to pass an awkward join in an exposed location.
It is a passive, weatherproof RJ45 to RJ45 coupler with no electronics or power requirement. Detailed mechanical specifications beyond the waterproof RJ45 inline join are not published in the reachable Raymarine literature and have been omitted.
