Description
The Seaflo BPS1802 float switch adds automatic operation to a non-automatic bilge pump. As water in the bilge rises the internal float closes the contacts and starts the pump; as the level drops the switch opens again, so the bilge is cleared without crew intervention. It suits pumps with a flow rate between 350 and 3000 GPH.
Rated at 18A maximum at 12V (8A at 24V) and suitable for 12, 24 and 32 VDC systems, the switch uses a mercury-free bearing-activated mechanism and is supplied with a 16 AWG, 1 m wiring tail. It is a straightforward companion for Seaflo 13A series and similar manual bilge pumps.
