Description
The Shakespeare Galaxy 5400-XT is a heavy-duty 1.2m white fibreglass VHF antenna delivering 3dB gain, part of the well-regarded Galaxy Little Giant range. Its centre-fed half-wave design packs solid performance into a compact tapered radome, making it a good general-purpose choice for T-tops, hard-tops and radar arches.
Brass and copper elements are used to maximise range, and the one-piece antenna is finished with a stainless steel ferrule carrying a standard 1 inch by 14 TPI thread. It is supplied with 6m of RG-8X extra low-loss coaxial cable terminated in a PL-259 connector and handles up to 50 watts.
