Description
The Simrad TP22 is a capable tillerpilot for tiller-steered sailing yachts up to 12 m (39 ft) overall, combining sophisticated steering software and a built-in fluxgate compass with a powerful screw-thread drive. It delivers accurate course holding with minimal current consumption and notably quiet operation.
Built-in SimNet and NMEA 0183 interfaces let the TP22 share heading, wind and navigation data with compatible Simrad instruments and chartplotters, enabling Steer To Wind and Nav (Steer To GPS) modes alongside standard auto-tack and compass steering. Adjustable Response Control and a Seastate filter tune performance to the conditions.
