Description

This medium-capacity MK2 pack contains everything needed to fit a Simrad AP44 autopilot to a smaller hydraulic-steered boat. It combines the AP44 colour controller, the NAC-2 autopilot computer, a Precision-9 heading sensor and the PUMP-2 (12 V, 0.8 L) reversible hydraulic pump, along with an NMEA 2000 power cable and T-connector kit.

The NAC-2 computer is designed for boats up to 10 metres (33 ft) and drives low-current pumps, mechanical drives and solenoid valves up to 8 A continuous and 16 A peak. Simrad Virtual Rudder Feedback technology means a separate rudder feedback unit is not always required, though the system also accepts an RF25 where a physical sensor is preferred. Continuum steering delivers automated turn patterns, No Drift steering and full integration with compatible Simrad displays over NMEA 2000.
