Description

The Simrad AC70 is a professional autopilot drive computer for rudder or propeller (for example Voith Schneider) steering systems, controlling reversible motors or galvanic non-isolated solenoid valves. It is part of the Simrad AP60 and AP70/AP80 autopilot family and connects to the SimNet/Micro-C CAN network.

The AC70 provides connections for 12/24 V supply, drive and drive-engage outputs, frequency rudder feedback (such as RF300 or RF45X), a non-follow-up steering lever, an external alarm, external mode selection and NMEA 0183 (IEC 61162-1/2) devices. NMEA 0183 port count can be expanded using an SI80 or AT10 interface.
