Description

The Simrad R5024 12U/6X is a CAT 2 type-approved X-band radar built around a 12kW up-mast transceiver and a 6ft open-array antenna, supplied with a 24-inch widescreen display. Based on the R5000 radar processor, it connects to the transceiver over a thin Ethernet cable and can be networked with additional R5000 processors to build multi-radar systems for SOLAS-class vessels.
