Description
The Volvo EVC Kit for IPS (part 000-10402-001) is a complete Simrad autopilot pack for Volvo Penta IPS and EVC vessels. Built around the Simrad SG05 autopilot computer and the Volvo Gateway, it bundles the core components needed to add integrated autopilot steering that commands the boat's drive-by-wire system directly, without a separate hydraulic pump.
Because the SG05 interfaces with the Volvo Penta drive and engine electronics, the kit delivers smooth, fully integrated course-keeping on supported IPS and sterndrive installations. The autopilot is operated from a Simrad autopilot control unit or compatible multi-function display, sharing steering, navigation and engine data over a single network.
