Description
The Simrad V3100 is a black-box Class B AIS transponder built around SOTDMA technology, giving it up to 2.5 times the transmit power and around six times the position-reporting rate of a standard Class B unit. This means your vessel is seen sooner and more reliably by surrounding traffic, improving situational awareness in busy waters. Housed in a compact IP67 water-resistant enclosure with a built-in SD card slot for standalone data logging, it integrates cleanly with Simrad displays and other compatible chartplotters over industry-standard connections.
