Description

The Simrad GS25 is a compact, fully waterproof GPS antenna that delivers fast, accurate positioning to compatible Simrad, Lowrance and B&G multifunction displays over NMEA 2000. Tracking GPS and GLONASS across 72 channels with SBAS support, it refreshes your position ten times per second for smooth chart movement, precise course-over-ground at low speed and reliable plotter trails.

An electronic rate compass is built in, providing a heading reference for radar overlay and chart stabilisation without a separate sensor. The sealed housing suits pole or surface mounting anywhere on the vessel, and a single NMEA 2000 drop cable handles both data and power for a clean, simple install.

How does the GS25 connect to my system?
The GS25 connects to your NMEA 2000 backbone with a single Micro-C drop cable, which carries both the position data and the antenna power. No separate power feed is required.
Does the GS25 provide a heading output?
Yes. It has an integrated electronic rate compass that supplies heading data for chart stabilisation and radar overlay, as well as improved course-over-ground at low speeds.
What satellite systems does it use?
The GS25 tracks GPS and GLONASS across 72 channels and supports SBAS corrections (WAAS, EGNOS and MSAS) for improved positional accuracy.
Can the GS25 be pole or surface mounted?
Yes. The fully waterproof housing can be pole mounted or surface mounted anywhere on the vessel with a clear view of the sky.
