Description

This is the 4 ft open array antenna for the Simrad Halo open array radar. Fitted to the Halo radar pedestal, it narrows the horizontal beam to 1.8 degrees (sharpening to 1.3 degrees) for improved target separation and supports an instrumented range of up to 64 nautical miles. The antenna weighs 4.9 kg and is supplied as a replacement or build-up component for the Halo pedestal.
