Description
The Simrad SAL SD4-3 is a clear LED bridge display for the SAL speed log system. The upper window shows longitudinal speed through water, with an upward arrow lit when the vessel is moving ahead, while the lower mode window shows distance sailed in nautical miles.
A simple control set lets the operator toggle the lower window between total distance sailed (DIST WAT) and distance since the last trip reset (TRIP WAT), and reset the trip log by pressing and holding for two seconds. Bright and easy to read at a glance, the SD4-3 pairs with the SAL speed log electronics to complete a dedicated, professional log installation.
