Description

The Airmar B175M is a 1kW medium-frequency CHIRP thru-hull transducer in a low-profile bronze housing, built for vessels carrying a Navico display such as Lowrance, Simrad or B&G. Its Tilted Element design keeps the ceramic almost flush to the hull while aiming the beam straight down, so you get clean depth readings and crisp returns without a separate fairing block.

Sweeping the full 85 to 135kHz band, the B175M resolves individual fish and bottom structure in deep water far better than a single-frequency sounder. This 0-degree version suits hulls with little or no deadrise, and a built-in depth and fast-response water-temperature sensor feeds extra data to your fishfinder.

What frequency range does the B175M cover?
It is a medium CHIRP transducer sweeping continuously from 85 to 135kHz, giving 50kHz of bandwidth for sharp fish and bottom separation.
Which displays is this transducer compatible with?
It has a 9-pin Navico XSonic connector and works with Lowrance, Simrad and B&G CHIRP-capable sounders.
What hull does the 0-degree version suit?
The 0-degree element tilt is intended for hulls with little or no deadrise, keeping the beam pointing straight down.
How deep can the B175M read?
It reveals fish and bottom detail to roughly 457m (1500ft) depending on conditions and the sounder used.
Does it measure water temperature?
Yes, a built-in depth and fast-response water-temperature sensor feeds readings to the connected display.
