Description

The Airmar B175L is a 1kW low-frequency CHIRP bronze thru-hull transducer designed for deep-water fishing and dependable bottom tracking where higher frequencies lose their reach. Its 40 to 60kHz CHIRP band penetrates to around 762m (2,500ft), making it a strong choice for offshore anglers and bluewater cruisers.

This 20 degree Tilted Element model is matched to hulls with a deadrise between 16 and 24 degrees, angling the ceramic element so the beam points straight down for a true reading on deeper-vee hulls. It uses the XSonic 9-pin connector for Navico Lowrance, Simrad and B&G systems, and integrates depth and fast-response water-temperature sensing in a low-profile bronze housing for fibreglass or wood hulls.
