Description
This Airmar blanking plug seals a thru-hull transducer housing when the sensor insert has been taken out, keeping water out of the boat during cleaning, antifouling or storage. It fits the P617V, B617V and SS617V housings used by the DST800 and related D800, DT800, DST900 and DST950 transducers.
The plug slides into the housing and is secured with the cap nut for a watertight seal, with a safety wire to stop it backing out. Keeping one aboard means the transducer can always be removed without hauling the boat.
