Description
The Raymarine Self-Seal Speed Transducer Housing provides a retractable through-hull fitting for Raymarine speed transducers. An integrated self-sealing valve automatically closes when the transducer is removed, preventing water ingress into the hull without the need for bungs or stop-valves. This enables paddlewheel maintenance and replacement while afloat.
The housing is compatible with the relevant Raymarine speed transducer active elements and should be installed in a keel area with good, undisturbed water flow. Fitting should be carried out in accordance with Raymarine installation guidelines.
