Description
The Garmin GT23M-TH is an 8-pin thru-hull transducer that combines traditional mid-band CHIRP sonar (80 to 160 kHz) with Garmin ClearVu CHIRP scanning sonar (260 and 455 kHz). The 600 W mid-band channel delivers strong depth performance and target separation to 1,800 ft, ideal for rough conditions, while the 500 W ClearVu channel gives picture-like detail of structure and fish below the boat to 1,000 ft. A built-in fast-response water temperature sensor and an extension cable are included. The transducer ships with a fairing block, isolation plate and bushings for flush mounting on hulls up to 25 degrees deadrise and on metal hulls, and must be fitted with at least one anti-rotation bolt. It connects via an 8-pin plug to compatible Garmin STRIKER, ECHOMAP and GPSMAP units and the GSD 25 sonar black box.
