Description

The Airmar R509LH-W is a high-power, chirp-ready thru-hull transducer designed for deep-water and commercial fishing where reach and target separation matter most. It carries 25 internal broadband ceramic assemblies and delivers 2 kW on the high band and 3 kW on the low band, driving returns from thousands of metres of water.

The low channel spans 28 to 60 kHz for long-range bottom tracking down to around 3,000 metres, while the high channel runs 130 to 210 kHz for detailed imaging to roughly 460 metres. This wide-band, dual-frequency coverage lets a compatible CHIRP sounder resolve individual targets that a single-frequency transducer would merge.

Supplied as an external-mount housing with a faired body for clean water flow at speed, the R509LH-W is a substantial fitting intended for larger sportfishing and commercial hulls. The xSonic connector allows direct connection to compatible Simrad, Lowrance and B&G sonar modules.
