Description
The Raymarine Type 2 12V hydraulic pump motor is the reversing hydraulic pump assembly at the heart of a Raymarine Type 2 hydraulic autopilot drive. Driven by the autopilot's actuator control unit, it controls the flow of fluid through the boat's existing hydraulic steering system so the pilot can steer the boat.
This unit is matched to Type 2 hydraulic steering installations, sized for steering rams of 230 to 350cc, and runs on a 12-volt DC supply. It forms the drive element of an Evolution or SmartPilot autopilot system and works alongside the EV-1 sensor core, actuator control unit and control head.
