Description
The Simrad SAL R1 ELC is the main electronics unit at the heart of the SAL R1 speed log system. It takes the signal from the SAL R1 transducer and processes it into accurate speed-through-water and distance information, which is then shown on a connected SAL speed and distance display and shared with the vessel's other systems.
Designed for professional and commercial use, the SAL R1 forms a robust, dedicated speed log solution. The main electronics unit is supplied on its own and works together with the matching SAL R1 transducer and a SAL display to make up a complete log installation.
