Description
The PTM-R2-SL is a taller tapered mast in the Scanstrut Starlink range, standing 820.4mm (32.30 inch) high and made from marine-grade aluminium. A remake of the classic Scanstrut tapered mast, it is designed to raise the Starlink Flat High-Performance antenna and a radar well clear of the deck on a single mounting platform, while making installation as simple as possible.
Access panels under each wing give easy reach for cable routing, and the mast is shaped so NMEA connectors pass through without being removed. Pre-drilled mounting holes let a compatible radar fasten straight to the mast with its own bolts, and the antenna mounts directly to the top plate.
With a Scanstrut DS30 cable seal the installation is fully watertight, with no need to cut the radar or Starlink connectors and no marine sealant required. The finish is applied using the unique Scanstrut four-step marine paint system for lasting durability.
