Description
The Energy Solutions AC System Controller manages the incoming AC sources on a vessel that has two generators and two shore power supplies, providing simple, automatic source selection and changeover between them. It presents two output busses: Bus A selects between a 50A shore input and a 100A generator input, and Bus B selects between a 50A shore input and a 50A generator input, so the switchboard always draws from the chosen valid source.
By automating the selection between shore power and generator power, the controller removes the risk of manual switching errors and makes it easy to move between supplies as a vessel comes on and off the dock. It is designed as a fit and form replacement to match the Charles Industries AC Master Controller, so it is a straightforward upgrade or replacement on boats originally fitted with that unit.
